Astsessment Appointment

  • Assessment appointments are held at our clinics and cover:
  • An assessment of the scoliosis curve (patients should bring a copy of a recent x-ray with them)
  • Detailed assessment of the patient’s medical history
  • An assessment of the severity and type of the patient’s scoliosis
  • Clinical examination of the patient’s posture, leg length, risk of progression of the curve and inherent flexibility of the body
  • Discussion about suitable treatment options and realistic treatment objectives.
  • Brace measurement and 3D digital scanning when appropriate

  • Following the assessment, if a patient is suitable for scoliosis treatment and decides to proceed, a treatment appointment will be arranged.

  • Our tailored treatments incorporate:

  • 1 x Scoliosis Brace 

  • Brace fitting appointment 
  • Initial post-brace fitting review/adjustment (4/6 weeks)
  • The services of our Clinical Specialists to respond to any queries throughout the treatment process

Some insurance providers cover the costs of our Scoliosis treatments. If you have private medical insurance, please contact your company directly to enquire about cover.
